Celtic Download is designed to be as simple to use as possible. On this page are some simple tips on how to search, browse and purchase products available in our store.

Searching - I know what I want, how do I find it ?
There are 2 methods that you can use to search for music on our site, either use the 'Artist A-Z' to browse all of the available artists, then click on the product you want. Or, you can search for specific words / phrases in all of our products. To do this, click on the 'Search Music' then enter the terms you wish to search for. This can be a track title, an album title, or something else. You can further refine your search results by specifying a particular artist.
Browsing - I'm not sure what I want, inspire me !
There are a few ways that we can inspire you. First of all is the featured artist on the home page. We will try to feature a different artist each week - so there should always be something new ! Just click on the artist's profile link to learn more about them, find the music available to purchase, and even listen to some sample tracks.
Alternatively, there are the featured albums, which you can also find on the right hand side of the home page. Simply click on the album cover to see the details of each album.
Lastly, there are the recommended products. When you add a product to your cart, at the bottom you will see recommended products, this will show other products both from the same artist and also from similar artists. You'll also see some recommended products that other customers have bought at the same time as the product you have selected.
Buying - I've found what I want, how do I buy it ?
Once you've found the product you want, simply choose from the available options and click 'add to shopping cart' - we'll then add that product to your basket and return you back to the product page, so that you may continue browsing other products.
If you've added a particular track from an album to your basket, you can then repeat the process for other tracks. Once you're sure you've got everything you want - just click checkout to proceed with purchasing your order.
Checkout - How do I pay for the items in my cart ?
Step 1: Login or create an account. If you have purchased from use before, simply click 'Login' and enter your email address and the password you chose when you registered to login to your customer account Alternatively, click 'Create An Account' to open a customer account, then enter your full name, email address and choose a password. You can also choose whether to subscribe to our newsletter, or not.
Step 2: Once you have logged in or created an account, click View My Cart from the list of options presented to you, this will take you to the shopping cart review page. Here you can check the items that have been added to your cart, update quantities if you'd like to buy more than 1 of a particular product. If you want to remove an item from your cart, check the box on the right hand side and click Delete at the bottom.
If you make any changes, always click Update Totals. Forgotten something ? Click Continue shopping to browse our store again, your cart will still be there when you come back ! Got everything you need ? Click the Continue button to enter your billing details.
Step 3: If you are an existing customer, your billing address should already be pre-populated, however if it has changed just click Edit to change the address details. If you're a new customer click 'New' to add your billing address.
Next, review and accept our terms & conditions - if you do not accept our terms, we cannot proceed with your order. Choose whether you'd like to sign-up for our newsletter or not, and if you are lucky enough to have a Celtic Download Gift Certificate, enter the code in the box shown.
Click the continue button to review the total amount, then hit Continue to enter your payment details.
Step 4: All sales are processed by our payment partner PayPal. You will now be transferred to PayPal's 100% secure checkout area. All personal / financial details are processed using 128-bit SSL encryption. Your financial details are not shared with us.
If you already have a PayPal account and you wish to use, just login and follow the prompts. If not, creating a PayPal account is optional - you can either create an account, or just pay by card without creating a PayPal account. Once you've made your payment you'll see a payment confirmation screen, please either wait to be transferred back to our store - or click the 'Return to Celtic Download' link.
We will now take you to an order confirmation screen if your order has been accepted, or if there was a problem you'll be taken to an error screen.
Payment - What is Verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode™ ?
Visa and Mastercard have introduced new security checks for the protection of credit and debit cards online. As a result you may be asked for your Verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode™ password when completing a purchase. To find out more about these services:

What happens if I am not registered for Verified by
Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode™?
If you are not
already registered with your card issuer, you will be prompted to
register securely during the checkout process and create a password
for your card. If you're unsure about this new service, you may be
able to complete your order without registering but we recommend
that you contact your card issuer to find out more about the
service.
I'm already registered, when do I enter my
security details ?
You will be asked for them as you complete
your payment. Remember, your Verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode™
password is not the same as your Celtic Download password and Celtic Download
does not have access to your Verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode™ password.
If I have a problem with
Verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode™ who should I contact?
You should contact the bank or card issuer. Their contact
details are normally found on the back of your credit / debit card.
Download - How do I download my order ?
Once your payment is complete, you'll be taken to an on-screen confirmation page which will show details of your order, along with download links. Just click on the download button next to the product to download the product to your computer. If you have purchased several products, you need to follow this process for each product.
Occasionally, your bank or credit card company may not give us an immediate authorisation on your card - in this instance you'll receive a message asking you to wait for 30 seconds then refresh the page - to do this right click your mouse and choose Refresh/Reload - or alternatively hit F5 on your keyboard.
If your card has still not been authorised, just close the page and check your email. Once your order has been confirmed you'll receive a copy of the order confirmation/receipt, along with the download link to your email address.
I'm not at home just now, can I download my order later instead ?
Yes, of course. When you get home, check your email and either click on the download link, or visit the following page and enter the Order ID and password provided on the order confirmation email: http://www.celticdownload.com/latedownload.php
Please remember that you must download your products within 24 hours of your order being confirmed.
